Marking the Hijri New Year with Spirit, Tradition, and Togetherness

What does the Hijri New Year truly mean to us at Sorouh?

At Sorouh, every milestone is an opportunity to reflect, give thanks, and come together as one community. To mark the beginning of the Hijri New Year 1447, we honored this sacred moment with a meaningful celebration that blended spiritual depth and cultural tradition.

In the heart of our developments in the New Administrative Capital, across the sites of Entrada, Entrada Avenue, and RoseVil in the R7 district, we carried out the ritual of Udhiya, a timeless act of faith and generosity. With reverence and care, the sacrifice was made on-site, sharing blessings with those in need and reaffirming our values of compassion and gratitude.

But this day wasn’t just about ritual. It was about connection.

Later, we gathered with Sorouh’s family, brokers, and valued guests for a special celebration at Beit Hamam, a setting chosen for its warmth and cultural character. The gathering was filled with heartfelt conversations, shared meals, and a deep sense of unity as we looked forward to a new year rooted in purpose and partnership.

The Hijri New Year is a time to reset, reflect, and recommit to the values that guide us. And this year, we did it the Sorouh way with sincerity, togetherness, and a shared spirit of giving.

A Night Under “الخيمة الكبيرة”: Sorouh’s Ramadan Suhoor

What makes Ramadan nights truly memorable?

At Sorouh, we believe it’s the moments of unity, gratitude, and togetherness. On the serene night of Saturday, March 15, the Sorouh family gathered at the prestigious Triumph Hotel for a memorable Sohour evening inside the warm and welcoming setting of “الخيمة الكبيرة,” a traditional Ramadan tent that brought everyone together under one roof.
This exclusive gathering was more than just a celebration.
It was a heartfelt reflection of Sorouh’s core values: unity, gratitude, and togetherness. Designed to bring our people closer, the evening was filled with warmth, connection, and the timeless spirit of the holy month.

Major General Abdel Hamid Youssef, Chairman of the Board, honored the night with his presence, reaffirming Sorouh’s commitment to strong leadership, vision, and community.

The evening also featured a heartfelt address from Eng. Ahmed Harby, CEO of Sorouh, who took the stage to share words of appreciation, pride, and inspiration, celebrating how far we’ve come and the strong bond that continues to move us forward.

Mr. Mohamed Rabie, Managing Director, also joined in the celebration, embodying the passion and progress that drive Sorouh’s ongoing journey.

We were also proud to welcome our extended partners, Sorouh’s trusted network of brokers, whose presence added to the spirit of collaboration and shared success.

The event was proudly sponsored by Al-Nahar TV and Sada El Balad, whose support helped bring the night to life.

Inside “الخيمة الكبيرة,” we didn’t just gather to share a meal. We gathered to share a moment of gratitude, growth, and unity.

At Sorouh, we believe in building lasting connections. This night was a beautiful reminder that we’re stronger together.
